Rusija otpisala Grčku i Tsiprasa

MOSCOW, August 8. /TASS/. Moscow will lose nothing because of the chill in relations with Athens, Oleg Barabanov, programme director of the Valdai Discussion Club, told TASS.
He reminded that Greek ambassador to Russia Andreas Fryganas had been summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry where he was presented with a note informing of the retaliatory measures taken by the Russian side in response to Athens' unfriendly actions toward Russian diplomats in mid-July.
According to the expert, the experience of recent bilateral relations shows that Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras failed to keep his promises.
"You cannot seriously set hopes on cooperation with him. That’s why if he stands for an explicit break in relations Russia won’t lose anything. Because over the years Moscow has not seen any practical benefits from its friendship with Tsipras," Barabanov said.
He stressed that there are many partners in the EU that are trying to keep the doors open for dialogue with Russia despite "all the complexity of relations in general."
"Unlike Tsipras, this dialogue turns to be much more constructive for Russia, so if the Greek leader does not want it, we largely don’t need this either," Barabanov concluded.

There is another very important defense-strategic moment. The agreement on the supply of the Russian anti-aircraft missile system S-400 for Turkey coincided with the aggravation of Russian-Greek relations. This is hardly an accidental coincidence, since the appearance of this unique air defense system in Turkey is able to close not only the sky of this country for Greek military aviation, but also that part of the Aegean Sea, which the Turks claim.
Greece, despite all the difficulties it is experiencing, is in second place in NATO after the US in terms of defense spending to GDP. A significant part of these scarce means is consumed by aviation, which with the advent of the S-400 Turks actually becomes (in the event of a military conflict with their main enemy) almost useless.

Podrška svim onim principilnim Grcima koji ne bu dopustili sporazum sa Makedoncima, a kaj bu omogućilo da potonji uđu u NATO.

Grčka je očekivala novac od Rusije, ali pošto su poznati po nevraćanju, Putin se odlučio za manevar s Turcima a još će i zaraditi. Grčka je nebitna strateški, ako kontroliraš Tursku. Pravoslavlje je tu sporedno.
