US forces establish 4 military bases in Mosul to oversee operations against ISIS

U.S. forces have positioned in four districts in eastern Mosul to oversee the implementation of new combat plans as Iraqi forces become closer to retake that region from Islamic State militants, military sources say, IraqiNews quoted an Iraqi army officer in Mosul speaking to London-based al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper as saying.
The bases were surrounded by tight security measures that deny access even to Iraqi troops and became under around-the-clock aerial watch as the Iraqi army’s Golden Division, a special operations force, prepares to carry out a newly-devised U.S. combat plan, the IraqiNews report continued.
The districts chosen as location for the new bases were al-Quds, Saddam, Zohour and Gogjali, according to the officer.

The US has advised Iraqi forces to concentrates all attacks on one district at a time rather than spreading forces across many districts.
Though displaced families from those districts were barred from returning home by Iraqi forces who feared attacks by ISIS militants, the U.S. forces allowed the families to return, according to the source.

US Air Force kills high ranking Al-Qaeda leader in Syria

BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:55 P.M.) - A US coalition drone airstrike has exterminated a Fateh al-Sham (formerly the Al-Nusra Front) commander.
The targeted commander was identified as Abou Ibrahim Al-Tunisi and was pulverized around Aqirybat town, in northern Idlib countryside.


Before waging his jihad in Syria, he was the assistant of the current leader of the Al-Qaeda terrorist group, Ayman al-Zawahri.
In recent times, the US-led coalition has been targeting Fateh al-Sham leaders in Idlib province.
The Syrian Observatory For Human Rights has claimed that over 50 jihadists in Idlib province have been wiped out by drone strikes or IED's in the month of January alone.

Iraqi Security Forces liberate 5 bridges in Mosul: map

(South Front) Iraqi security forces (ISF) have cleared from ISIS militants the Mosul Park and the areas of Al-Muhandisin, Nurqal, Taqafah and the Ancient Nineveh, de-facto setting up control over the whole eastern part of Mosul.
ISF units also gained control over 5 Mosul bridges from the eastern side of the city.
North of Mosul, the Popular Mobilization Units (Hashd Al-Sha'abi) continued their rapid advance towards the strategic town of Tal 'Afar, killing and wounding scores of Islamic State terrorists on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, near the Syrian border, the Iraqi Army has resumed their military campaign to liberate the final Islamic State strongholds in the Al-Anbar Governorate.

Syrian helicopters land in Deir Ezzor for first time since ISIS offensive

Syrian helicopters were able to land and take off for the first time in Deir Ezzor since ISIS conducted its devastating offensive that cut the military base from the main city.
The helicopters were able to bring in fresh reinforcements to fight against the ISIS offensive, whilst also carrying away some injured soldiers from the embattled city.
With helicopters being able to land again, more reinforcements are expected to arrive in the coming hours and days.

It has not yet been revealed at this moment whether the helicopters are landing at the besieged military base, or whether the Syrian Army have secured a new landing area.
In the last four days since ISIS began its offensive on Deir Ezzor, the terrorist group has had over 200 fighters exterminated, whilst the Syrian Army lost between 50-75 soldiers according to conflicting reports.

Ja mislim da  Raqqa  samo što nije oslobođena?

kojih ljudi? ja teroriste ne smatram ljudima,doduse izgledaju kao ljudi ali nemaju ljudske kvalitete,stoga to su za mene insekti,koje treba skenjati
