Syrian Army to begin counterattack against ISIS in Deir Ezzor

With ISIS splitting the government held areas of Deir Ezzor in two, the pro-government forces has now begun its counterattack against the terrorist group.
The first stage of the counterattack involves the Syrian and Russian air forces pulverizing ISIS positions before the ground troops storm the weakened positions. Because of this strategy, no gains has been made as the Syrian Army has not begun their offensive.
An inside source with direct contact to Major General Issam Zahreddine has quoted him as saying that the morale of the soldiers is extremely high despite some of the setbacks faced earlier in the day.
Zahredinne then went onto say that the air forces are doing a great job and that the Syrian Army will win this battle against ISIS.
The Syrian Army will be looking to quickly end the siege on the air base or the city will face a humanitarian disaster as most of the food and supplies that reach civilians in Deir Ezzor are delivered to the airbase.
Meanwhile, the Director of Health in Deir Ezzor has said that in the last few days he has seen only 25 killed Syrian Army killed and a further 45 injured show up at Assad Hospital. This contradicts the exaggerated ISIS claims.

Deir Zor je neobranjiv i samo predstavlja teret i mlinski kamen oko vrata za SAA.
Ovo sad je samo produžavanje agonije. Treba pregovarati preko ISILovih mentora oko izvlačenje vojske i civila i onda prepustiti grad kanibalima do daljnjega.
AKo se grad ne može deblokirati u neko dogledno vrijeem, a očito da ne može, onda ne treba produžavati to mučenje.

ISIS leader gives ultimatum to foreign fighters in Mosul to return home or carry out suicide attacks
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS, has put an ultimatum on foreign fighters to either return home or conduct suicide attacks against Iraqi forces in Mosul with the promise of going to heaven and being rewarded with 72 virgins, a local source in Nineveh province told Al-Sumaria News on Monday.
ISIS are known to execute fighters who try to leave the terrorist group.

The eastern Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor has been besieged for over three years now initially by the entire rebel coalition and since early 2014 by ISIS alone.
Despite the over 100,000 civilians in there who are completely cut off and threatened by the ISIS savages the city has received next to no attention in the western press on the account of being defended by the Syrian army.
The defenders are in trouble right now -- more trouble than usual that is. In a characteristic charge supported by suicide car bombs ISIS has managed to cut the Syrian army positions in two and isolate the adjacent airbase from the city proper.
Cut off Syrian army bases have managed to hold on for many months so the veteran soldiers in Deir ez-Zoir's should be fine for now, but ISIS gains leave the city which has been long reduced to resupply via airdrops along with the occasional helicopter landing at its most vulnerable since the siege was put up more than three years ago.
The Russian air legion in Syria at least is doing everything it can to halt ISIS. An unprecedented intensity of Russian strikes is being reported as heavy fighting takes place on the ground.
So far the Americans are nowhere to be seen. In September US bombed Syrian army positions on strategic high grounds outside the city killing up to 100 fighters and allowing ISIS to take them.
Data from US' own investigation indicated the bombing of Syrians was deliberate. The US investigator who was soon to be transferred under the commanded of the general who ordered the strike nonetheless concluded the strike had been a mistake.
ISIS is under attack in Mosul and being squeezed around Raqqa. The long-encircled Deir ez-Zor is one of the few remaining places where it can hope to score a victory.[/size]

budimo realni Sirijska vojska ne postoji kao neka efikasna sila. Izuzev par brigada (tipa brkini tigrovi, republikanska brigada itd) Pobjedu u Alepu su izveli Rusi, Iranci, Iračani, Afganistanci, Hezbollah, Palestinci, uglavnom ta koalicija.
Vjerojatno kada je oslobođen Alepo, ovi otišli doma, dobili plaće i ostale beneficije i hrpi njih se vjerojatno ne vraća ponovo na bojište. Čak i Rusi su poslali nosač aviona nazad.
ISIL nema izbora, u Iraku puši, a u Siriji mu je stanje nešto bolje, jer tu jedino i ostvaruju neke pobjede, pa vjerojatno povlače iz Mosula vojsku i napadaju tu zračnu luku.
