Battle for #Kherson - AFU Position on the #Andreevka Sector defeated by Fire

After the Russian Forces retreated from Davydov Brod in the #Nikolaev - #Berislav direction, the enemy was stopped at the #Bruskinskoye - #Pyatikhatki line.

At one of the erected strongholds, the AFU rotated personnel and delivered there. A drone operator noticed the activitis of the Ukrainian militants. He tracked their movements and opened the position.

Russian artillery struck the identified enemy position in the wooded area. Some of the shells fell close to the cover, but another hit the target.

After the shelling, fire broke out in the AFU position, followed by the detonation of the ammunition stored there. The Ukrainian militants were forced to abandon the stronghold and retreat to the rear.

Mayor of Kiev Urges Power Rationing with Heating Season Beginning Thursday

#YURI: Russian Armed Forces Counterattack near #Kupyansk - Situation in the Morning of 19 Oct, publ. 14:09:zap:

The Russian army, taking advantage of the fact that the AFU has moved part of its forces from #Kupyansk direction, launched a local counterattack in order to improve its position in this area. 

The day before, our units took control of the village of #Gorobyevka, which was a prelude to today's strike in the direction of the #Dvurechnaya railway. And if successful, the #Dvurechnaya bridgehead will be finished, which will be an important moment to restore, at least partially, our defence line along the #Oskol River.

Russia Enters the War

By the evening we have an interesting picture:

— Martial law has de jure been implemented in the new territories and de facto in the old ones.

— Infrastructure strikes continued in a supportive mode, and the partners' mad dash to Kherson ended in a pork-barrel slaughter. A local, but decisive victory.

— The country is concentrating, and, having realized the danger, Russia is taking action. It is true that restraint against burning all the bridges wholesale remains in place, but the attempts to continue the dialogue remain unconvincing, and everyone everywhere seems to understand everything now—other than the usual fools.

Russian State Duma rejects bill on crypto mining

The State Duma at a meeting on Wednesday voted to reject a bill (https://sozd.duma.gov.ru/bill/127303-8) on crypto mining. 

The document prescribes the basics of crypto mining regulation in Russia, albeit without clarifying the taxation procedure, as well as requirements for data centers and mining operators.

Earlier, the State Duma Committee on Financial Market criticized the document as it provides for the use of cryptocurrencies as legal tender in Russia, which is prohibited by the Constitution. 

In addition, the submitted document lacks a systematic approach to the regulation of crypto mining and digital assets, according to the committee. 

Currently, the Ministry of Finance is reportedly preparing its own version of amendments to the legislation regulating crypto mining.
