I mene isto, svaki put me rasplače.

As a child, I bit into a lightbulb and my father and uncle had to take all the pieces of glass out of my mouth—and glue it back together to make sure I hadn’t swallowed any of it. I was four or five years old. They asked me why I did it, and it was because I wanted to be the filament. I could see the filament inside the lightbulb and I wanted to be that, and the only way for me to get to it was to bite the lightbulb.

ULTRAVOX – HYMN (1982)
Written by Warren Cann, Chris Cross, Billy Currie and Midge Ure and produced by George Martin, HYMN loosely drew from biblical language and offered one of the LP's most singable choruses.
The artwork for the picture disc and the single’s sleeve used Masonic emblems – most notably the compass and the square.
“Lyrically, the song describes a time of corruption, in which "all that's good will fall from grace" and "Different words [...] have other meaning"; the protagonist expresses his worldly ambitions for "power and glory" in phrases from Bible ("the storybook"), especially The Lord's Prayer.”
The video takes the theme of the song a stage twisting it into a Faustian tale of a “diabolical figure (played by Oliver Tobias) seducing men struggling in their fields (an actor, a politician, a musician and an office assistant, played by the four Ultravox members). After signing a contract, they all achieve success, though - as hinted at by the final scenes - at a cost.”

This month in 1979, THE DICKIES released the single NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN, (September 1979).
A rampaging cover of the 1967 Moody Blues song, NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN scored The Dickies a Top 40 hit in the UK (#39) in September 1979.
