nakon biografije o Abrahamu Lincolnu, sad mi autobiografija Benjamina Franklina isto dobro sjeda, osjećam se k'o Lisa Simpson :^^

zanimljiv je Franklinov pogled na hranu, iako se većinu života nije zamarao što je pred njim na stolu, s čime kaže da je uštedio puno nezadovoljstva koje je viđao u drugih, koji su navikli trošiti misli na hranu-

bez obzira na to se već kao tinejdžer bacio u vegetarijanske vode, jer je uostalom time štedio novac pa bi s ostatkom kupovao knjige..

When the boat landed in Philly, he smelled fish frying and was tempted. When when he saw a gutted fish disgorge a lot of little fish he decided that he could certainly eat fish if they do…and he did.
Franklin was never a strict vegetarian, and after this event of the fish he was an omnivore and really America’s first foodie. [Emphasis is Professor Weinberger’s.]
You read that right. The quotation that animal rights activist so proudly display on their shirts, mugs, bags, and aprons refers to the occasion in which Franklin gave up his vegetarianism.

Jo razumin vegiće kad kuvaju samo trovu jer ne želu ubiti neku beštiju, ali ča se tiče bijologije, to in ne more projti.

Pa ono klasika; nemomo vegetarijansku probavu, nutijenti u biljkami su manje bioavailable pa se tribo puno isti ča opterećuje telo, biljke imaju kemijsku obranu pa tribo paziti... Ka su isprid tebe dvi teće, jedna puna biljaka a druga beštij, dakle već mrtva beštija i etička priča je gotova, tribo navoliti na meso.

da, tu je već gotovo, onda misliš da ima/nema korelacije između nas mesojeda i izumiranjem životinjskih vrsta?
