What happened in the Pacific ocean
The Internet in addition to coronavirus, there are other items for discussion. For example, in the media there was a news story about the incident in the waters of the Pacific ocean.
What happened was this. As reported TASS, the Chinese destroyer sent invisible laser reconnaissance aircraft P-8A the U.S. Navy.

The incident occurred in international waters of the Pacific ocean, near the island of GUAM.
The incident really upset us military command about what they told the world in a specially issued document. It is reported that the actions of the Chinese were unsafe, violated international agreements and could even harm to crews and aircraft systems.

In the United States believe that the scouts themselves were just patrolling the waters in accordance with all regulations.
A laser that is not visible to the human eye, recorded avionics sensor mounted in the plane.
On the reaction from the PRC are currently not reported.
The laser on the ship is first and foremost a blinding weapon that can bring down both the equipment and person.
It is known that China has developed a number of samples blinding weapons such as BBQ-905, WJG-2002, PY131A, PY132A.

Why do we need lasers on ships
