Comfort zone
A comfort zone is a psychological state in which things feel familiar to a person and they are at ease and in control of their environment, experiencing low levels of anxiety and stress. In this zone, a steady level of performance is possible.[1]
Bardwick defines the term as "a behavioral state where a person operates in an anxiety-neutral position."[2] Brown describes it as "Where our uncertainty, scarcity and vulnerability are minimized—where we believe we'll have access to enough love, food, talent, time, admiration. Where we feel we have some control.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comfort_zone
Proxemics
Proxemics is the study of human use of space and the effects that population density has on behaviour, communication, and social interaction.[1]
Proxemics is one among several subcategories in the study of nonverbal communication, including haptics (touch), kinesics (body movement), vocalics (paralanguage), and chronemics (structure of time).[2]
Edward T. Hall, the cultural anthropologist who coined the term in 1963, defined proxemics as "the interrelated observations and theories of humans use of space as a specialized elaboration of culture".[3] In his foundational work on proxemics, The Hidden Dimension, Hall emphasized the impact of proxemic behavior (the use of space) on interpersonal communication. According to Hall, the study of proxemics is valuable in evaluating not only the way people interact with others in daily life, but also "the organization of space in [their] houses and buildings, and ultimately the layout of [their] towns".[4] Proxemics remains a hidden component of interpersonal communication that is uncovered through observation and strongly influenced by culture.

Personal boundaries
Personal boundaries are guidelines, rules or limits that a person creates to identify reasonable, safe and permissible ways for other people to behave towards them and how they will respond when someone passes those limits.[1] They are built out of a mix of conclusions, beliefs, opinions, attitudes, past experiences and social learning.[2][3] This concept or life skill has been widely referenced in self-help books and used in the counseling profession since the mid-1980s.[4]
According to some counselors, personal boundaries help to define an individual by outlining likes and dislikes, and setting the distances one allows others to approach.[5] They include physical, mental, psychological and spiritual boundaries, involving beliefs, emotions, intuitions and self-esteem.[6] Jacques Lacan considered such boundaries to be layered in a hierarchy, reflecting "all the successive envelopes of the biological and social status of the person".[7] Personal boundaries operate in two directions, affecting both the incoming and outgoing interactions between people.[8] These are sometimes referred to as the "protection" and "containment" functions.[2]
Mind your own business
"Mind your own business" is a common English saying which asks for a respect of other people's privacy. It can mean that a person should stop meddling in what does not concern that person, etc. Its initialism is MYOB.

Can Sexual Harassment Be Verbal?
Posted on March 1, 2018
Yes, and it’s illegal, too
Most people know that unwelcome touching, hugging or other physical contact is not acceptable behavior at work. It’s called sexual harassment, which is illegal under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Sexual harassment can also be verbal.
We’re not talking about the isolated sexual innuendo. Lewd remarks and sexual banter can turn into sexual harassment when the conduct is severe or pervasive enough to create a harmful, hostile work environment.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) includes verbal conduct in its definition of sexual harassment: “unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature…that explicitly or implicitly affects an individual’s employment, unreasonably interferes with an individual’s work performance, or creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive work environment.”
And it’s not always a male supervisor verbally harassing a female. Anyone can be a perpetrator or target of verbal sexual harassment, inside and outside of the workplace. Vendors, clients and customers can also contribute to a hostile environment through their verbal conduct.
Does verbal sexual harassment exist at your organization? Here are some examples of verbal conduct that, if left unchecked, can lead to claims of sexual harassment:
Telling risqué jokes
Making sexist remarks
Requesting sexual favors
Discussing one’s sex life and fantasies
Making catcalls and lewd noises
Calling people “honey,” “sweetie” or “baby”
Repeatedly asking coworkers for a date, when they are clearly not interested
Telling lies or spreading rumors about a person’s sex life
Other behavior such as frequently staring at someone, making sexual gestures or displaying sexual images at work or on a company device can also lead to charges of sexual harassment.
Traliant Insight
Organizations that allow (or ignore) offensive jokes, lewd comments and unwelcome sexual discussions are creating a climate of verbal sexual harassment that the EEOC may deem hostile, intimidating and unlawful. An important step in preventing harassment charges is to ensure your anti-harassment training and policies cover how to identify, prevent and report all forms of workplace sexual harassment − verbal, nonverbal, physical and visual.

Responding to harassment
All incidents of sexual harassment – no matter how large or small or who is involved – require employers or managers to respond quickly and appropriately. Just because someone does not object to inappropriate behaviour in the workplace at the time, it does not mean that they are consenting to the behaviour.
The law
Sexual harassment is against the law under the Equal Opportunity Act.
Some types of sexual harassment may also be offences under criminal law. These include indecent exposure, stalking, sexual assault and obscene or threatening communications, such as phone calls, letters, emails, text messages and posts on social networking sites.
Employers should consider reporting criminal offences to the police.
More information on sexual harassment and the law is available on our Sexual harassment page.
Liability
While the person who sexually harasses someone else is liable for their own behaviour, employers can also be held vicariously liable for acts of sexual harassment by their employees or agents.
Sexual harassment can involve employees, managers, contractors, agents, volunteers, clients, customers and others connected with or attending a workplace. It can happen at work, at work-related events or between colleagues outside the work environment.
A common workplace
A workplace covers any place that a person attends for the purpose of carrying out their work or trade. They do not need to be an employer or employee of the workplace.
For example, Miki is contracted by an employment agency to fill a short-term reception role with an IT company. During her two-week placement she is sexually harassed by one of the company’s staff. Although not an employee of the IT company, Miki is still covered by the law.

What is the difference between freedom of speech and freedom of expression?
expression: the action of making known one's thoughts or feelings.
As per my definition, Freedom of Speech is about the freedom of speaking anything which is in the form of speech, whether oral or written, but backed by good logic, rationality and reasonability, and speaker must think that it is defendable, and this is what the Freedom of Speech means.
Freedom of Expression, is a right to expression even without speech, whatever you like to speak through expressions, like paintings, fictious novels (fictions), Cartoons, films, dramas, or say abuses, protests or any other art form or unclear or logically baseless action or speech. As arts and baseless speech is not perfectly based on logic and rationality, and based on some kind of expression which may be suggestive to rationality and logic, though not clearly actually so, but just an expression, is considered to be freedom of Expression.
It is to note that, Freedom of Expression is generally get curtailed on the basis of it being hurtful without better reasoning, rationality. But Freedom of Speech, which is based on logic, rationality and explanation, is generally taken seriously, even if it is curtailed by various countries, individuals etc.
So the difference is,
Freedom of Speech.- it is a statements or ideas, well supported by logic, rationality etc. at least as per the speakers thinking.
Freedom of Expression:- It is an expression which may or may not be supported by logic, rationality, and be just an expression of emotions, which can be curtailed and punished and can be banned too. This is what is Freedom of expression, which IMO is limited to being rational, logical, otherwise it can be opposed and can be curtailed.
So be careful, that Freedom of Expression is generally being curtailed and opposed, and Freedom of Speech actually cannot be curtailed, as it is extremely propagatory kind of thing as it is based on logic and rationality.
This is as per my definition is a difference between Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Expression. Speech and Expression means much differently, and they are not the same, IMO.

Re: Denkverbot
Queen Elizabeth I revoked a thought censorship law in the late sixteenth century, because, according to Sir Francis Bacon, she did "not [like] to make windows into men's souls and secret thoughts".[7] During her reign, philosopher, mathematician, astrologer, and astronomer Giordano Bruno took refuge in England from the Italian Inquisition, where he published a number of his books regarding an infinite universe and topics banned by the Catholic Church. After leaving the safety of England, Bruno was eventually burned as a heretic in Rome for refusing to recant his ideas. For this reason, he is considered by some to be a martyr for free thought.[8]
However, freedom of expression can be limited through censorship, arrests, book burning, or propaganda, and this tends to discourage freedom of thought. Examples of effective campaigns against freedom of expression are the Soviet suppression of genetics research in favor of a theory known as Lysenkoism, the book-burning campaigns of Nazi Germany, the radical anti-intellectualism enforced in Cambodia under Pol Pot, the strict limits on freedom of expression imposed by the Communist governments of the People's Republic of China and Cuba or by right-wing authoritarian dictatorships such as those of Augusto Pinochet in Chile and Francisco Franco in Spain.

In the evening, we came to the Budva marina and moored there. The concierge took our papers, but was surprised we did not have the vignette. I explained that the harbour master’s office was closed on Sunday and that we will get the vignette in the morning. She was not sure what to do. It seemed we were the first ever boat to arrive in Budva on Sunday.
