The launch complex of the Vostochny cosmodrome can be named in honor of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. This was announced today by the head of State Space Corporation Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin, talking to reporters on Baikonur

Journalists asked Dmitry Rogozin about the possibility of a name to Vostochny Cosmodrome in honor of Vladimir Putin's, similar to the launch complex on BaikonurCosmodrome being named after the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.

‘I think the time will come for this,’ Rogozin told reporters.

Recall that earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to name the ‘Baiterek’ space complex under construction at the BaikonurCosmodrome in honor of the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev. Recently, the Kazakh side announced that the ‘Baiterek’ space complex will be renamed to the ‘Nazarbayev launch’ by amending the agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Russia on the construction of the complex.

Vostochny Cosmodrome is located in the Far East in the Amur Region, near the city of Tsiolkovsky. The total area of the spaceport is about 700 square km. The construction of the first launch complex began in 2012 and was completed in April 2016. In 2016, the first successful launch took place with the launch of three artificial Earth satellites into orbit. In 2024, it is planned to launch a manned spacecraft Orel (formerly the Federation) in unmanned mode and in 2025 with astronauts on board.

Vostochny will become the first national civilian launch site and will ensure Russia's full access to outer space. Currently, manned launches can only be carried out from the BaikonurCosmodrome leased by Russia from Kazakhstan.

Mislim da njih Rusi ne bi smjeli upućivati na služenje vojnog roka ili nekako napraviti isključivo muslimanske jedinice. Ne bi ih trebali miješati sa drugima previše su opasni.
