Clashes between Syrian army troops and ISIS terrorists intensified in the area of the Tharda Mountain and the cemetery in the city of Deir Ezzor.
Government forces actions against ISIS units were supported by multiple airstrikes by Syrian and Russian warplanes.
According to local media activists, over 20 airstrikes hit ISIS targets in the areas of the Tharda Mountain and the cemetery as well as Bgheliya, Hamideya and Hweika.
Last weekend, ISIS increased its attacks against the Syrian army in the Deir Ezzor Airport and the nearby areas, using a number of suicide bombers to break government defenses but the terrorist group failed to achieve a significant progress.[/size]

Mosul je ipak relativno sačuvan grad, za razliku od Alepa, koji više kao takav ne postoji...
Ima više razloga za to, ali nećemo o tome...

BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:08 A.M.) – Iraqi Prime Minster Haider al-Abadi has claimed the the operation to liberate Mosul from ISIS has entered “its last stage.”
He also made an offer for terrorists who surrender to receive a fair trial, but those who continue to resist will “definitely be killed.”
He also emphasized that all precautions are being taken so civilians were not killed in the crossfire.
“We are so careful, even with the families of Daesh [ISIS], we are taking care of them but not the fighters. We will not target the families but the terrorists of Daesh, we will fight them and if they are arrested they will face a fair trial and if they will fight they will be killed,” he said.

Russian instructors have finished the retraining of 1,000 Syrian servicemen, who have joined the Fifth Legion.

The second group of 1,000 Syrian servicemen has completed its retraining under the guidance of Russian instructors in a training camp in Damascus province and replenished the Fifth Legion of the Syrian Army, created last year and considered to be one of the most trained units of the Syrian Armed Forces. During the retraining, soldiers have studied the tactics of conducting modern combat in conditions close to real.
It is still unknown where the second group of the Fifth Legion will be sent. But the first detachment, which completed its training in late 2016, currently fights against terrorists of the Islamic State (IS) group in the east of Homs province, including the area of Palmyra city.
At the moment, the Russian program of retraining of Syrian military answers expectations. Servicemen, who completed the training course, have advanced combat capabilities and operate more rationally in combat conditions.
The formation of the Fifth Legion of volunteers was announced by the General Command of the Syrian Army and the country’s Armed Forces in late November 2016. The army called on citizens, who would like to become volunteers and take part in “eliminating terrorism” on the territory of Syria, to visit the recruitment application centers, opened in various provinces, and join the Fifth Legion.
As it was reported at that time, the volunteers, who wanted to become part of the Legion, must have been Syrian men above 18 year old, who were not conscripts or deserters. The Legion also was ready to accept volunteers, who had finished their military service, and state employees under one-year renewable contracts. According to the Command, state employees would keep all rights and benefits, which they received in their workplaces, in addition to regular amounts of money that they would receive from the Fifth Legion.

alep je bio podjeljen grad nekoliko godina, a pod povećalom, često s iskrivljenom slikom bio je svakodnevno tih nekoliko tjedana dok se oslobađao. za razliku od mosula gdje se nalazi više civila, nema zelenih autobusa, a civili ginu kao i u svakom ratu... mediji danas čkome i gube i zadnji trun kredibiliteta ako su ga i imali...

a vidi im ručica kako pokazuju koliko su im visoki kukuruzi, bit će ih njemački oficiri pobjegli nakon ww2 učili sijat kukuruze...
