On February 16, Syrian government troops, supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces, continued to advance against the ISIS terrorist group in the province of Homs.
Following the liberation of Western Bayarat, the Syrian army and the National Defense Forces (NDF) further advanced west of Palmyra, engaging ISIS units in the areas of Eastern Bayarat, Jabal Hayyal and Jabhal Thaniyat al Ghazw. Some sources even report that Eastern Bayaratis under a full control of the government troops. However, this has to be confirmed by photo or video evidence.
Separately, the army and the NDF advanced against ISIS terrorists in the area if the Jihar field northeast of the Tiyas Airbase. Clashes are now ongoing there.
According to reports, a demining operation is now ongoing in the recently liberated Hayan Gas Field.

Chief Of Turkish General Staff Says Al-Bab Is Liberated. Is There Another Town With Same Name In Syria?

The northern Syrian town of al-Bab has been liberated from ISIS terrorists and Turkish troops are now working to clear the area from mines and explosives, the Turkish daily “Daily Sabah” reported, citing Chief of General Staff Gen. Hulusi Akar.

WHAT?

Probably, the Turkish chief of general staff forgot that pro-Turksih militant groups, backed up by the Turkish army, had retreated almost from all areas seized in the ISIS stronghold of al-Bab. Thus, the only side, which controls al-Bab, is ISIS.
Is this statement a bad propaganda move for the internal audience or a grand mistake by some journalists?

Lavrov said his first meeting with Tillerson was productive.

The Turkish defense minister said that the Syrian city of al-Bab has been surrounded by Turkish-led forces.

Currently, the Turkish-led forces continue the operation to liberate the city, Defense Minister Fikri Isik told journalists in Brussels.
He said that Kurdish-held Manbij and Daesh's de facto capital of Raqqa will be the next targets of the Turkish operation in Syria.
"Al-Bab is completely surrounded; the operation is underway in the city. Manbij and Raqqa will be the next goals after al-Bab. Tomorrow the Chief of the US General Staff [Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford] will arrive in Ankara," the Turkish minister said.

The Turkish military operation in Syria's al-Bab has entered the final stage. Turkey's units entered central al-Bab, the operation is being conducted in coordination with Russia to prevent clashes with Syrian government forces.

Moreover, Russian and Turkish military jets have repeatedly jointly bombed Daesh targets near al-Bab in Syria.
Al-Bab is one of Daesh’s last remaining strongholds near the Turkish border. Capturing the city is of strategic importance to Turkey in order to prevent the Syrian Kurds taking it and unifying their own territories.

Russian Tu-95MS strategic long-range bombers delivered airstrikes on ISIS targets in the Syrian province of Raqqa on February 17.
Tu-95MS bombers destroyed several terrorist camps, training centers and a command post of a major ISIS unit near the ISIS self-proclaimed capital of Raqqa, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
The strikes were carried out by brand new X-101 cruise missiles.
“Su-30SM and Su-35S provided air cover to the Russian bombers from the Hmeymim airbase,” the statement reads.
The Pentagon commented on the issue, adding that Russian and US air forces used mechanism on safety of flights over Syria to avoid any incidents near Raqqa.[/size]

Palmir je i inače prst u oko muslimanima (bez namjere da ikoga vrijeđam).
Pogled na palmir ih podsjeća iz kakve su kulture potekli, a vidi ih sad.
Kad se palmira gradila naši su potomci sakutali po granama, a vidi nas sad?

nebi me iznenadilo da ti divljaci miniraju i egipatske piramide jer eto faraon nije bio musliman pa im se to ne uklapa u koncepciju
