Thousands of fish from several different species have died in a massive fish kill in two rivers in the US state of Maryland, with officials saying the aquatic environment was robbed of oxygen by toxic algal bloom.

Maryland Department of the Environment investigators told The Baltimore Sun that they believe a toxic algae known as ‘Karlodinium venifecum’ is to blame for the deaths of about 10,000 fish in the Gunpowder and Bird rivers.

Fish kills are localized die-offs of fish populations and the most common cause is reduced oxygen in the water due to algae bloom, drought, overpopulation, or an increase in water temperature.
They can be caused by diseases or parasites, but such cases are less frequent. Mass fish kills are more common in the summer, when warm weather and sunlight fuels algae blooms, and are often the first visible signs of environmental stress in a body of water.

Officials in Maryland are waiting for lab results to confirm that algae bloom was the cause of the die-off in the rivers in Baltimore County but they do not believe pollution was a factor.
"Monitoring has shown elevated cell counts of Karlodinium venifecum algae in the Gunpowder River," Department of the Environment spokesperson Jay Apperson said to Fox news. "We are awaiting results of laboratory tests for algae toxins and of fish tissue. The investigation is ongoing."
Residents have been told to avoid the dead fish and to wash their hands should they need to handle or dispose of any of the bodies.[/size]

The US is also expelling 35 Russian diplomats, who now have 72 hours to leave the nation. The five entities sanctioned are the Autonomous Noncommercial Organization Professional Association of Designers of Data Processing Systems, the Federal Security Service, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Special Technology Center, and Zorsecurity. The Federal Security Service is comparable to the US FBI, meaning that this will effectively block any counter intelligence operations between the two nations. Sanctioned individuals include Igor Valentinovich Korobov, the current Chief of Russia's main intelligence directorate, the GRU; Sergey Aleksandrovich Gizunov, Deputy Chief of the GRU; Igor Olegovich Kostyukov, a First Deputy Chief of the GRU; and Vladimir Stepanovich Alexseyev, also a First Deputy Chief of the GRU. Additionally, the US will be closing two Russian diplomatic compounds in Maryland and New York, which the US claims were used for intelligence related activities. "These actions are not the sum total of our response to Russia’s aggressive activities. We will continue to take a variety of actions at a time and place of our choosing, some of which will not be publicized," the White House said in a statement. "In addition to holding Russia accountable for what it has done, the United States and friends and allies around the world must work together to oppose Russia’s efforts to undermine established international norms of behavior, and interfere with democratic governance. To that end, my Administration will be providing a report to Congress in the coming days about Russia’s efforts to interfere in our election, as well as malicious cyber activity related to our election cycle in previous elections." The Kremlin has responded to the sanctions by promising a "mirror response," that will make Washington officials "feel uncomfortable." President Vladimir Putin will personally determine the response, which a Kremlin spokesman says will be adequate. During a conference call with reporters on Thursday afternoon, a senior White House official asserted that retaliation is necessary. “We will not tolerate the abuse of our systems, including our election systems, from foreign entities,” the official continued.  Previously, Obama stated that there was no evidence that Russia tampered with the votes on November 8. “We were frankly more concerned in the run up to the election to the possibilities of vote tampering, which we did not see evidence of,” Obama said earlier this month during an interview with the Daily Show. “And we’re confident that we can guard against.” The official, speaking on background, also stated that “there is no debate in the US administration about the fact that Russia interfered in the election." "These are executive actions… hypothetically you could reverse these sanctions, but it would not make a lot of sense," the official said.  The Kremlin has denied any involvement in the hacks on the Democratic National Committee or Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta. The claims have also been disputed by veterans of both the CIA and the NSA. “If hacking were involved, the NSA would know about it, and so they would also know the sender and the recipient,” former CIA analyst Ray McGovern previously told Loud & Clear on Radio Sputnik. “There’s no reason in God’s world why they wouldn’t reveal that if they had it.” JONATHAN ERNST Trump-Obama Sanctions Standoff: Punish Russia v 'Get On With Our Lives' The Trump transition team has also contested the validity of the claims. "If the CIA Director [John] Brennan and others at the top are serious about turning over evidence … they should do that," Trump aide Kellyanne Conway said on CBS’ Face the Nation earlier in the month. "They should not be leaking to the media. If there's evidence, let's see it."  Conway went on to call retaliation against Russia “a political response” at the behest of “Team Hillary.” "It seems like the president is under pressure from Team Hillary, who can't accept the election results," she said. "It's very clear that President Obama could have 'retaliated' months ago if they were actually concerned about this and concerned about this affecting the election." In November, members of the Senate Intelligence Committee urged the White House to declassify “additional information concerning the Russian Government and the U.S. election,” but they have still not received any response. President Obama had ordered the intelligence community to prepare a full report on the their findings regarding Russia and the election before he leaves office on January 20. The incoming president-elect has stated that the US needs to “get on with our lives,” in response to the allegations against Moscow. A Christian woman in her 50s was stabbed by an Afghan migrant while she was reading the Bible in an asylum accommodation in Austria. The attacker later told police that he had assaulted her because he had “personal problems.”
The incident took place in the Timelkam municipality in Upper Austria state, police said on Thursday, as cited by the local media.

The woman and her husband had been invited to read the Bible by some of the center’s Christian residents, which is apparently what angered the 22-year-old Afghan asylum seeker.
When he heard the woman reading the Bible, he entered the kitchen where she was standing and stabbed her with a butter knife.
Luckily for the woman, she was wearing a thick winter coat that protected her from serious injury, but she did hurt her ear when she fell backwards.
The man was detained by police and later taken to a prison in the city of Wels, some 35 kilometers from Timelkam. The attacker claimed that he stabbed the woman because he was suffering from “personal problems.” He also noted that he had never seen his victim before.
Crimes committed in the EU by asylum seekers allegedly fleeing war and persecution in the Middle East and North Africa have been making headlines all over Europe since last year when over a million people poured into Europe as the refugee crisis intensified.

In November of this year, the Austrian Interior Ministry admitted that there has been a steep jump in the number of criminal incidents involving asylum seekers over the past few years.
In September, five Afghan refugees linked to sexual assaults were detained in Wels.

In 2015, an asylum seeker from Iraq identified as Amir. A raped a 10-year-old boy at a swimming pool in Vienna. The man claimed to police afterwards that he had had a “sexual emergency.” The assailant was later sentenced to six years in prison for sexual abuse and the rape of a minor.[/size]

Nije to problem nego je problem ustvrditi gdje se prava Ukrajina zapravo proteže. Jer ova Ukrajina je sklepotina pošto su joj boljševičke vođe od Lenjina do Hruščova pripajali sve i svašta i što nema veze sa izvornom Ukrajinom.

Razlika između Rusa i Ukrajinaca je veća nego što je između Slovenaca i Hrvata.
Prosječan Rus ne može voditi konverzaciju s Ukrajincem na ukrajinskom jeziku.
Odnosi  između njih je kroz povijest  bila približno onakva kao što je između Srba i Albanaca.
Ono Kosovo je Sbija, ali Srbi ne znaju Albanski, niti su ga učili u školi.
Možemo to posmatrati i kroz odnos Jugoslavije do slovenskog jezika.
I tu, pod krinkom bratstva i jedinstva, imamo slučaj kolonijalnog ponašanja, što je i dovelo
do raspada države. Nije ukrajinski odpor do svega što je rusko  ni malo slučajan.
Ovaj put ćemo preskočiti "Golodomor", ali ne možemo okupaciju Krima i rat u "Donbasu".

Pričati o Sloveniji kao o koloniji u SFRJ je notorna budalaština. Ako je postojao neko ko se okoristio od Juge to su bili Slovenci.

Zatim, boljševičke vlasti su još od tridesetih od Ukrajine napravili poprište najveće industrijalizacije u povijesti i Rusije i SSSRa i Ukrajine.

pripajali im teritorije koje sa njom nemaju veze i za to imaš ovo u Donbasu ali neće biti samo u Donbasu.

Treba pitati stanovnike pojedinih područja koliko se osjećaju kao Ukrajinci a ne kenjati kvake iz Slovenije kao što ti radiš.

Krim je ruski a ako ne vjeruješ idi i pitaj stanovništvo šta misli o tome. A ako ti smatraš da je prihvatljivo i validno da jedan kreten tek tako mijenja granice i sudbine milijuna ljudi bez referenduma i bez iakakve pravne procedure onda si ti jedan mamlaz koji nema pojma o čemu priča.
