Austria's courts order re-run of country's presidential election

[size=118]Europe was plunged into fresh crisis on Friday as Austria’s courts ordered a re-run of the country’s presidential election.
The constitutional court ruled the election, in which a far-Right candidate was narrowly defeated, would have to be held again because of irregularities in counting postal votes.
The ruling means the far-Right may seize the presidency of a European Union member state for the first time.
Norbert Hofer, the gun-toting candidate of the far-Right Freedom Party (FPÖ) lost the election in May by just 31,000 votes.
He was defeated by Alexander van der Bellen, a soft-spoken former economics professor endorsed by the Green Party.
Mr Hofer’s supporters will hope Friday's ruling means he can seize the presidency after all.
The decision will send shockwaves through EU governments already grappling with the consequences of Britain’s vote to leave the bloc.
Mr Hofer campaigned on an openly anti-immigrant platform and carried a Glock pistol on the election trail.
While his party does not want Austria to follow Britain out of the EU, it is calling for radical reform of the bloc and has threatened to hold an “Auxit” referendum if it doesn’t get its way.
The FPÖ wants powers returned to national parliaments and an end to EU control over immigration policy — in other words, the most powerful far-Right party in Europe’s shopping list is much the same as the British Leave campaign’s.
The Austrian presidency is largely ceremonial, and would not give the FPÖ the power to force through its policies.
But the party is leading in the polls ahead of general elections due in 2018, and Mr Hofer has said he will use the full powers of the presidency if elected — including the right to dismiss the government and call elections.
Mr Hofer initially called on his supporters to accept the results of May’s election, but the FPÖ later made a U-turn and filed the complaint over voting irrgeularities which led to Friday’s ruling.
The Austrian establishment, including the government of Christian Kern, the newly appointed chancellor, will now hope Austria will unite around Mr van der Bellen and again deny the far-Right the presidency.[/size]

Mislio sam da ce "mrcina" duze da crkava... Ovo se nesto ubrzalo...

Bilo je i vrijeme, malo smo se uspavali s čekanjem...bit će, bit će, a evo počinje.

Projekcije su bile 2050, pa onda 2030, pa 2025....računali su na brzinu ali zaboravili ubrzanje.

Samo trpaj.

Neče im ni to pomoč jer dok se nowi izbori organiziraju proči če bar pola godine ili tako nešto al ljeto sigurno oče a owi dole ono u dwa dana upalo 10 tisuča crmaca i Arapa u Italiju a do tih izbora upast če ih par stotina tisuča a to ti je 2 do 3 % sigurnih glasača FPO wiše ........tako da nemaju šanse owi lijewi

Sad će Arapi dobiti pravo glasa pa će opet biti isti ishod.

mi se toplo nadamo da ce  pobediti nas kandidat.
koji otvoreno poziva na korektan stav prema srbima na balkanu.

Mene samo cudi da im je trebalo ovoliko vremena za to. Ono u startu je iz aviona bilo vidljivo da se u cirkus pretvorilo na kraju. A opet s druge strane....nekako covjeku toplo u dusi jer se to dogadja i u uredenim zemljama :D

Nakon brexita, neće se dopustiti auxit. Niti croxit.

Nemas sta dopustati. Ja bih na mjestu EU postavio ko pravilo da svi moraju provesti referendum o ostanku ili izlasku iz EU nakon ovoga s Britancima. Lijepo sve zakupusati. Nije bitno koliko potencijalnih problema to izazove. Postenije je da svi ponovno glasaju i da je to onda to za slijedecih 20 godina recimo ( :D ) negoli ova sranja da svaki dan netko nesto novo izjavi.
