Rich Tomb of an Etruscan Princess Discovered in Italy

The tomb is dated to the 8th century BC, and the burial chamber is three meters (9.8 ft.) below ground. It is located in front of the ticket office at the archaeological site of Vulci. The excavation of the tomb has been carried out by the Vulci Foundation in Montalto di Castro near Viterbo.

Možda je malo off topic...Nađoh zgodnu sličicu kraljeva u Mezopotamiju (sumerskih, asirskih, babilonskih):

To jedino da su našli likove u kamenu izradjene
čak postoje za neke od njih ( Sargona, Senheriba mislim i Gilgameša )
jer ovako su to samo crteži, umjetnički prikaz.
Ali dobro, interesantno je.

Čudno malo da ni u tragovima nije ostalo spomena na ovu bitku, čak ni u mitulogiji germana.

Archaeologists Find Ancient Collector's Hoard of Hasmonean Coins
Archaeologists find rare cache of 2,150-year old silver drachms in Modiin in a crack in an ancient wall. Who dunnit?
A rare cache of silver coins dating to the Hasmonean period, some 2,140 years ago, has been discovered in a salvage excavation in central Israel.
The 16 coins, shekels and half-shekels (tetradrachms and didrachms), date from around 126 BCE. They had been minted farther north, in the city of Tyre, and bear the images of the king, Antiochus VII and his brother Demetrius Israeli, stated Avraham Tendler, director of the excavation on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority.
The small hoard was found hidden in a rock crevice by a wall of an impressive agricultural estate, the Israel Antiquities Authority stated. Its archaeologists made the discovery while digging at a site slated for the construction of a new neighborhood in Modi‘in.
Closer analysis of the coins showed that the cache contains one or two coins from every year between 135 to 126 BCE. Altogether, coins from nine years are there, says Dr. Donald Tzvi Ariel, head of the Coin Department at the IAA, adding. "It seems that some thought went into collecting the coins, and it is possible that the person who buried the cache was a coin collector. He acted in just the same way as stamp and coin collectors manage collections today."
True, we may not all stick our collections of coins and stamps in cracks in the wall, but we do try to put them somewhere safe.
Or maybe: "The cache that we found is compelling evidence that one of the members of the estate who had saved his income for months needed to leave the house for some unknown reason," Tendler speculated. "He buried his money in the hope of coming back and collecting it, but was apparently unfortunate and never returned. It is exciting to think that the coin hoard was waiting here 2,140 years until we exposed it."
The ancient collector, or wayward traveler, may have hailed from an ancient Jewish homestead.

"Se Rezultati Iz našeg iskapanja pokazuju da Je židovska Obitelj uspostavila poljoprivredno imanje na ovom BRDU u Hasmonean razdoblju", Tendler navedeno. "Članovi obitelji zasađena stabla maslina i vinogradi na susjednim brdima i rastao Žito ud olinama. Industrijsko područje koje uključuje preradu maslina i skladišta u Kojima se čuva maslinovo ulje se trenutno otkrila porama imanja."
U Sponzoruše Su također otkrili NE manje OD desetine isklesan tijeska OD Strane nekretninama Kuće, Koja Je imala goleme zidove KAKO bi obeshrabrila pljačkaša, kaže Tendler.
Osima Za zidnu ensconced cache, arheolog pronašao brojne brončane novčiće iskovane OD Hasmonean Kraljeva na mjestu, s imenima Kraljeva, Kao Sto Su Yehohanan, Juda, Jonatana - ja Matatija Veliki svećenik i voditelj Vijeća OD Židovi.
Ukratko, in ovo vino koje proizvode židovska domaćinstva očito preživio tijekom ranog rimskog razdoblja, A RIJEČ Je IAA, očito poštuje obrednu čistoću i nečistoće: zakone, kopanje mikvehs i korištenjem plovila izrađenih OD krede, Koji je - premom židovskom zakonu - Ne može postati ritualno nečist ,
Možda jednog dana Je Dosta, IPAK, ja sudjelovao u prvoj pobuni Protiv Rimljana, Koji JE izbio u da 66 CE. Jer Jedna stvar: neki OD kovanica nos podatak "Godina dva" pobune i sloganom "Sloboda Siona".

Stela je podignuta u slavu Darije oko 500 god p.n.e. a natpis na njoj je klinastim pismom
i spominje Darijevu pohod na Milet
