Direktori nekoliko kanala poljske državne televizije TVP predali su ostavke nakon što je 31. prosinca parlament usvojio zakon o javnim medijima koji nadzor nad javnim medijima predaje konzervativnoj stranci na vlasti, objavila je u subotu mrežna stranica novinara i medijskih djelatnika.

Direktori dva kanala TVP1 I TVP2 , kao i dužnosnici kanala TVP Kultura, informativne agencije TAI i ureda za ljudske resurse TVP u četrvtak su predali ostavke predsjedniku grupe koji ih je prihvatio, piše na stranici wirtualnemedia.pl, a prenijeli su je u subotu drugi mediji.

Nikakav službeni razlog njihove odluke nije objavljen, ali ostavke su predane na dan izglasavanja novog zakona u medijima u poljskom senatu kojim dominiraju konzervativci stranke Pravo i pravda Jaroslawa Kaczynskog.

Sporni zakon u srijedu je prihvatio i donji dom parlamenta unatoč prosvjedima oporbe i međunarodnih ustanova.

Na temelju odredbi novog zakona, trenutačno prestaje mandat ravnateljima javnog radija i televizije kao i članovima nadzornih vijeća. Ministar financija odsad je nadležan za imenovanje i opoziv novih ravnatelja javnih medija koji su se dosad birali na natječaju koji je provodilo Državno audiovizualno vijeće.

Neke medijske organizacije poput Europske radiotelevizijske unije, Društva europskih novinara i Reportera bez granica, izrazile su "ogorčenje" tim zakonom koji se "uvodi nabrzinu, bez ikakvih konzultacija", navodi se na mrežnoj stranici Europske radiotelevizijske unije.

Prvi program poljske državne radio postaje Jedynka u petak je svakog punog sata naizmjence emitirao nacionalnu i europsku himnu kako bi privukao pozornost na ugroženi pluralizam i slobodu riječi.

U međuvremenu, europski povjerenik za digitalno gospodarstvo Guenther Oettinger zaprijetio je u nedjelju Varšavi da će pokrenuti postupak kakav još nije viđen, zbog povrede temeljnih vrijednosti Europske unije, pošto je poljski parlament donio zakon kojim se javni mediji stavljaju pod nadzor konzervativne stranke na vlasti.

"Imamo više razloga da aktiviramo 'mehanizam za zaštitu pravne države' i stavimo Varšavu pod nadzor", rekao je Oettinger za nedjeljni broj njemačkog dnevnika Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeintunga (FAZ).

Kako navodi FAZ, predsjednik Europske komisije Jean-Claude Juncker uvrstio je to pitanje na dnevni red Komisijina sljedećeg sastanka 13. siječnja.

Po pisanju lista, Juncker kani primijeniti proceduru ustanovljenu 2014. koja se primjenjuje na zemlje u kojima se primijeti "sustavno ugrožavanje pravne države". Ako takva zemlja ne reagira na promjene koje predloži Komisija, potonja može pokrenuti "proceduru zbog povrede temeljnih europskih vrijednosti", obrazlaže FAZ.

"To se još nije dogodilo, ali" odluka o sankcijama može "ići dotle da se (optuženoj zemlji) čak oduzme pravo glasa" u Europskom vijeću, dodaje list.

Oettinger će se na sjednici 13. siječnja zauzeti da se taj mehanizam primijeni na Varšavu, piše FAZ. "Ravnatelj (javnog radija i televizije) ne može bez razloga dobiti otkaz. Bila bi to samovolja", upozorio je.

Jasnonjihova anti-ruski naboj je nepoželjan ali je varijabilan, da se to promijeniti.
