1 February 2019 – For the first time in 28 years, a non-stop service will connect the United States and Dubrovnik on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast this year.

The world’s largest carrier, American Airlines, will commence seasonal summer flights from its Philadelphia hub to Dubrovnik on 7 June 2019. The service will operate until 21 September 2019 and the airline is currently seeking Croatian speaking flight attendants.

The trainee flight attendant positions at American Airlines are advertised on the airline’s website and Andrea, a Croatian speaker who works at the airline, says it is a great chance to see the homeland.

“There are amazing flight benefits, and it is a very fun, well paid career. We are starting the non-stop service from Philadelphia to Dubrovnik in June. It’s a great way to see the homeland, and represent our country and language at the world’s largest airline. Plus the amazing flight perks for your families.”
