An appeals court in Western Sweden has reportedly acquitted an Iraqi migrant of his prior conviction for the rape of a 14-year-old girl on the grounds that he has “suspected ADHD problems” and has difficulty interpreting what “no” means.

According to Friatider.se, Abdul from Iraq was found guilty of extorting sex from a 14-year-old girl by threatening to distribute “offensive images and movies” of her.

Abdul reportedly filmed the subsequent rape of the girl, whom he was allegedly in a relationship with. Throughout the clip, Friatider.se reports that the girl repeatedly resists, saying, “no.”

Ultimately, last December, Abdul was reportedly sentenced to 10 months in youth custody and ordered to pay 140,000 kronor (over 15,000 USD) to the girl.


Friatider.se reports that this sentence was appealed and, earlier this month, a court in Western Sweden “unexpectedly” acquitted Abdul of rape, reclassified his crime as “sexual exploitation of children,” nullified his prison sentence, and reduced the fine he must pay to 60,000 kronor (just over 6500 USD).

The justification? Abdul, the Court of Appeal argued, suffers “ADHD problems” and, as such, finds it difficult “to interpret and interact with other people and realize the standards he is expected to live up to.”

As Kit Daniels of Infowars points out, this is not the first time a migrant accused of rape has been given an easy pass in Sweden.

Daniels writes, “another Muslim migrant charged with rape in Sweden two months ago was similarly slapped on the wrist by the court after anally raping a 13-year-old girl.”

In that case, the Syrian migrant was ordered to pay the equivalent of $2800 to the victim and received probation.

The migrant also reportedly lied about his age, claiming to have been born one year later than he actually was so he could avoid being tried as an adult despite papers showing he was 18 when he migrated to Sweden.

For some reason or another (perhaps the same reason Abdul got off so easy), nobody appeared to question the Islamic migrant’s rationale.
