In 2013, my office sued Donald Trump for swindling thousands of innocent Americans out of millions of dollars through a scheme known at Trump University... Today’s $25 million settlement agreement is a stunning reversal by Donald Trump and a major victory for the over 6,000 victims of his fraudulent university,” N.Y. Atty General Eric T. Schneiderman says in statement.

As part of settlement, Trump will pay $1m in penalties to N.Y. for violating education laws.

The $25 million settlement agreement would include roughly $4 million to resolve Schneiderman's claims.

The organization was not an accredited university or college. It did not confer college credit, grant degrees, or grade its students.

Trump University was also the subject of two class action lawsuits in federal court. The lawsuits centered around allegations that Trump University defrauded its students by using misleading marketing practices and engaging in aggressive sales tactics.

In 2005, the New York State Department of Education sent Trump, Sexton, and Trump University a letter saying that they were violating state law by using the word "university" when in fact Trump University was not actually chartered as one and did not have the required license to offer live instruction or training. Although Sexton promised that the organization would stop instructing students in New York State, the New York Attorney General alleged that such instruction continued.

A March 2010 letter sent by the Deputy Commissioner for Higher Education, Joseph Frey, to Trump stated: "Use of the word 'university' by your corporation is misleading and violates New York Education Law and the Rules of the Board of Regents." In June 2010, "Trump University" changed its name to "The Trump Entrepreneur Initiative."

On August 24, 2013, the State of New York filed a $40 million civil suit against Trump University alleging illegal business practices and false claims made by the company.

pametna taktika, napravio to posli izbora.. ako je uložio stotinjak milijuna $ u izbornu kampanju, šta mu je sada faks skrpati.. najjača mi je stvar što su antifašisti po americi i hrvatskoj pisali, da bi radi te tužbe sa faksom mogao izgubiti čak i ured predsjednika ako ga se proglasi krivim.. 
+ sudac je meksikanac, računa on - velik je rizik u igri, nagodio se, .. eto mala lokalna bitka koju su antifašisti dobili , ali uskoro ide Trumpova ofenziva po svim frontovima

zašto izmišljate?

suđenje je bilo odgođeno do završetka izbora po nalogu suda kako ne bi utjecalo na izborni rezultat, početak suđenja je bio zakazan za 28. 11.

In May 2016, judge Curiel set the trial on the suit to begin November 28, 2016, after the U.S. presidential election, with jury selection several weeks earlier.

On November 10, 2016, Curiel denied a request by Trump to delay the trial until after his inauguration as president of the United States of America. Curiel also urged the parties to work toward a settlement, and both sides agreed to accept an offer from U.S. District Judge Jeffrey T. Miller to facilitate such talks.

On November 18, 2016 it was reported that Trump agreed to pay $25 million to settle the two class-action lawsuits and the New York suit. The settlement was reached ten days before the San Diego class action was scheduled to go to trial. Of the $25 million, $21 million will go to the participants in the class-action suits, $3 million will go to New Yorkers not covered by the class-action suits, and a penalty of up to $1 million will be assessed by the state of New York for running an unlicensed university.

Na tom navodnom sveučilištu studenti su trebali naučiti kako biti uspješan kao Tramp.
A ono prevara u stilu vidovitog Milana.
