Gaza jihadist supporters rally against France, praise ISIS
REUTERS - Hamas security forces allowed a rare rally on Monday by rival jihadist Salafi activists in the Gaza Strip in support of Islamic State and [url=http://www.haaretz.com/misc/tags/Paris shootings-1.635973]the deadly attacks by three Islamist gunmen in France[/url].
"Today, we are telling France and world countries that while Islam orders us to respect all religions, it also orders us to punish and kill those who assault and offend Islam's Prophet Mohammad," said one of the protesters, Abu Abdallah Makdissi.
The demonstration was held five days after French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo, in its first issue since two gunmen burst into its Paris office on Jan. 7 and shot dead 12 people, again published a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammad, sparking violent clashes in some Muslim countries.
Many of the activists in Gaza, an enclave dominated by the Hamas Islamist group, wore uniforms similar to those of Islamic State fighters and identified themselves as supporters of various jihadist Salafi factions.
Jihadist Salafis held aloft posters of the two gunmen who carried out the Charlie Hebdo attack and a third militant who killed four people two days later at a kosher supermarket in Paris. All three attackers were killed by police on Jan. 9.
"You have to await more heroes of Islam, you worshippers of the Cross," the crowd chanted.

Jordan hanged two Iraqi jihadists on Wednesday including a female militant in response to an Islamic State video appearing to show a captured Jordanian pilot being burnt alive by the hardline group.
Islamic State, also knowns as ISIS and ISIL, had demanded the release of the woman, Sajida al-Rishawi, in exchange for a Japanese hostage who was later killed. Sentenced to death in 2005 for her a role in a suicide bomb attack in Amman, Rishawi was executed at dawn, a security source and state television said.
Jordan, which is part of the U.S.-led alliance against Islamic State, has promised an "earth-shaking response" to the killing of its pilot, Muath al-Kasaesbeh, who was captured in December when his F-16 crashed over northeastern Syria.

IS je nedavno pretrpio i poraz od snaga sirijske vlade u važnoj bitci nedaleko od zračne baze u pokrajini Deir al-Zor, odakle se morao povući, javio je SOHR, a dio teritorija je nakon vojnih neuspjeha morao prepustiti sirijskim i kurdskim snagama i u sjeveroistočnoj provinciji Hasaki, na granici s Irakom. Sirijska agencija SANA u petak je javila da je sirijska vojska u posljednjim uspjesima IS protjerala iz 16 sela, ubivši veliki broj džihadista.

A Saudi cleric has appeared in a video rejecting that Earth revolves around the sun, claiming instead that it is “stationary.” His statements have incited a fiery response on social media.
When questioned by a student about whether the Earth was stationary or moving, Sheikh Bandar al-Khaibari responded with “stationary and does not move,” Saudi-owned broadcaster Al-Arabia reported.
He then attempted to support his theory with a strange blend of logic and clerical statements.
“First of all, where are we now? We’re going to Sharjah Airport to travel to China by plane, [is that] clear? Focus with me, this is the Earth,” he said while holding up a sealed water cup.

He proceeded to say that if the plane stopped dead in its tracks in mid-air, “China would be coming towards it in case the Earth rotates in one direction. If the Earth rotates in the opposite direction, the plane would never reach China, because China is also rotating,”he said.
The shaky reasoning incited a torrent of responses on Twitter under a hashtag which roughly translates as #cleric_rejects_rotation_of_Earth.
“Check out this hashtag if you feel like watching your IQ plummet,” Twitter user ‘ink’ wrote.
“This is why you don't give khutbah [a public sermon] after smoking up,”Saijaz wrote.
“No surprise women not allowed 2 drive w cretins like this,” one user commented, referencing the ultra-conservative absolute monarchy’s ban on female drivers.

“Did somebody tell that guy that there are people literally live in space?” another wrote.
Others thought the blunder was a good opportunity to educate the public on issues of science.

Džihadistima su zatim dali da popiju neki napitak, a onda su u 19-minutnoj snimci prikazali pojedinačno svako lice. Nakon toga su ih upucali u potiljak, kao dio osvete za sve njihove masakre.
