So what's actually happening with Messi?
Earlier it was said that Messi would not play vs Morocco simply because he didn't want to, and the only reason he played vs Venezuela was to check how other players sync with Messi. But reports are coming out some kind of a problem which Messi has had for years is getting worse and he might need a surgery. Sports say that Messi will be rested as much as possible, probably in most league games, and will only be used in doses. Many mistranslated it as that Messi will be dosed (as in he will be put injections to reduce his pain). Few reporters also say that Messi will not start vs Espanyol and will rest as much as possible until the United game. This is what I could gather from Twitter. Anybody with clear report as to what's this fuss around Messi?

I don't think anyone knows for sure, but it's true he's been fighting pulbagia for a long time. I remember it was pretty bad 12'-14', so I wouldn't be surprised if he had to get surgery done

Just from my visual observations, I think it's gotten worse this past year. I've seen him grabbing/rubbing his groin area with some discomfort during games many many times this year. I knew something was amiss.
